Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black Review ❤

Hiii Girls~ ❤

I'm so sorry for being MIA for almost a month! (:

I will be doing a review on the Wet n Wild Creme eyeliner that fellow blogger thisisalx requested (: I purchased this eyeliner from Rite Aid for $3.99. I have heard great reviews on it before and I was always on the lookout for this eyeliner but I could never find it because it was always sold out! But the day I saw this eyeliner, it was the last one so I had to buy it! & it was cheap and non-glittery (unlike my Physician's Formula black gel eyeliner).

Wet n Wild has a place in my heart because one of my first makeup products was a Wet n Wild pencil eyeliner that was pretty bad... but I still thought it was really cool because it was makeup but I really liked their cheap nail polishes though (:

Sephora Deluxe Fragrance Sampler for Her Review ❤

Dear Girls ❤

*Climbs out from under a rock*
HELLO WINTER BREAK!! No school for 3 weeks (: SORRY EVERYONE! I know I said I would review the L'Oreal Project Runway blushes but since the stores stopped selling them... I thought why do a review since it wouldn't help much... SORRY!! ><

I decided to do a review on the Sephora Deluxe Fragrance Sampler for Her because I thought it would make a GREAT Christmas present for girls. I know fragrances are something that you can't just randomly pick and like... fragrances are personal!! So it is very hard to buy someone a fragrance because it is not certain that they will like it. Something like this would definitely help someone pick a fragrance they like for themselves!

I purchased this on Sephora.com for originally $50 but I had the $15 off coupon for Beauty Insiders so it was $38 including tax & shipping was free because it is a purchase over $50 before coupons and such.

The box looks really pretty so it is definitely good to give as a gift. My boyfriend saw this and said "it looks expensive"!

This is the sleeve it comes in, so if you purchase this at the Sephora store, it looks like this. The first picture is after I took this sleeve off.

The Sampler includes:
- A refillable atomizer + funnel (On the left)
- 12 different samples of perfume
Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir Eau de Parfum
Clinique Happy Eau de Parfum
Coach Poppy Flower Eau de Parfum
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette
DKNY pureDKNY Verbena Scent Spray
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioa Eau de Parfum
Givenchy Very Irresistible L'Intense Eau de Parfum
Gucci Guilty Eau de Toilette
Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum
Marc Jacbos Daisy Eau de Toilette
Prada Infusion D'Iris Eau de Parfum
Versace Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette
& A coupon to redeem a full size version of a fragrance that you choose from the sampler (On the right)

The Scent Certificate that you bring into any Sephora store (not the ones in JCPenney) to redeem the full size perfume of your choice

These are the "full size" perfume choices that you have (Click the picture to enlarge)
One bad thing about this is that many of the "full size" perfumes are 1 oz. perfumes.. not the regular 1.7oz or 3.4oz perfume that many of us consider "full size"

Here is the list of "full" size perfumes (& prices of each) that you can redeem:
- .84 oz Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir Eau de Parfum - $45
- 3.4 oz Clinique Happy - $55
- 1.0 oz Coach Poppy Flower Eau de Parfum - $45
- .8 oz Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette - $48
- 1.0 oz DKNY pureDKNY Verbana - $45
- 1.0 oz Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioa Eau de Parfum - $39.50
- 1.0 oz Givenchy Very Irresistible L'Intense Eau de Parfum - $48
- 1.0 oz Gucci Guilty Eau de Toilette - $55
- 1.0 oz Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum - $52
- 1.8 oz Marc Jacbos Daisy Eau de Toilette - $62
- 1.0 oz Prada Infusion D'Iris Eau de Parfum - $59
- 1.0 oz Versace Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette - $50

So if you look at the list, the ones that are worth more than the deluxe sampler are:
Clinique Happy
Gucci Guilty
Juicy Couture
Marc Jacobs Daisy
Prada Infusion

The other ones are worth less than the deluxe sampler, but this sampler is still definitely a fun thing to give to someone who is not sure which perfume they would like to purchase.
OR
If you or you know someone who already wishes to purchase Marc Jacobs Daisy (like me), you can buy this for yourself for $50, redeem Marc Jacob Daisy worth $62 and save $12 (: Which is what I did.. hehe!

I already wanted Marc Jacob Daisy before I discovered this sampler but it was hard for me to shell out $62 for a bottle of perfume, so when I had the $15 off and saw this sampler, I had to purchase it because it is like paying $38 for a $62 item (:
Or paying $50 for a $62 item (:

I haven't redeemed my perfume yet because I purchased the Deluxe Sampler for Him, for my boyfriend because he thought my sampler was so cool.... So I am waiting for him to pick his cologne and we can redeem them together~
YES there is a male version too! (:

Left is For Her
Right is For Him
In the end, this is a great present to give to someone else if they are not sure which fragrance to pick, or a gift to yourself if you are not sure! & After you pick your favorite perfume, you can give the other samples you don't like to your friends who like that scent! I like to keep these samples in my makeup bag because even though the atomizer is small... it's not THAT small so the samples are very handy.
PS. Did you know you can ask for fragrance samples are Sephora?? I just discovered this last week. Just give the perfume you would like a sample of to a Sephora Beauty Associate and they will help make you a small atomizer of the scent you would like to try out. It's incredibly convenient because perfume is expensive! You definitely want to make sure you like the perfume you purchase or else you will either waste the perfume & leave it sitting on your counter, or if you return the perfume to the store, the store will just throw away the full perfume bottle after refunding you.

Happy Holidays!! I hope all of you guys are spending quality time with your families (:

Sincerely, mimi

Sorry For My Hiatus!! ❤

Hii Girlies~

I am so sorry I have not been updating my blog recently! I transferred universities and the new university that I am attending is so rigorous! o___o I have not had enough time to review makeup ): I really miss my blog!! Thank you everyone who commented on my blog wondering where I was >< I feel so special that people actually remembered me!! (; I will not be doing a review today but I will just tell you about my latest obsessions in terms of makeup! I've been obsessed with getting the (semi) New Limited Edition L'Oreal Project Runway Collection of blushes. Last last week I seriously HAD to get all of them because I heard really good reviews on all of them. So I went with my boyfriend to Ulta but of course they were sold out... so called up every single drug store near me to ask if they were in stock and none of them were... So it was about 12 oclock midnight and I find a Walgreens 15 miles away that has 2 of the blushes in stock so my boyfriend drove me to Walgreens to get the 2 blushes...

I know I'm obsessed (: But I'm so glad I got them... I got the Sultry Raven's Blush & Charming Cockatoo & I'm loving both of them! Sultry Raven is the perfect dolly pink and Charming Cockatoo is a more bolder pink. I have ordered the other two (Watchful Owl and Audacious Amazon) on Walgreens.com so they will be arriving soon! But if any of you have the chance, definitely try them because they are so pigmented and smooth! & they come with .35 ounces of product! Which is a pretty good amount. NYX powder blushes have .18 ounces so the L'Oreal blushes are about double the NYX blushes!

Such pretty packaging (:
I'll probably be reviewing all of them at the same time when I have the time! ><
Midterms are almost over!!

Thank you for reading & have a great weekend!

Sincerely, mimi

& My 100+ Follower Giveaway Winner is...❤

Hello everyone! ❤

I'm going to make this short because I have to continue reading my book for class ): But I just wanted to say congratulations to...

Shop N' Chomp

for winning my first blog giveaway! (:

I will be emailing you shortly~ I put everyone's names, according to how many entries they had, into Excel and just picked a random number via random.org (:
There were 122 entries total!

It was interesting to see how old people though I was haha~ Which is why I put in that question (if you answered right or wrong I still gave you an extra entry (: ) But a lot of people actually gave an age that was older than I really was! Which was surprising because people always guess that I'm younger than I really am.
I'm 19 btw (: Alot of you guys guessed right! or knew from previous posts, etc.

Thank you everyone who joined! (: If you joined just for the giveaway, I understand if you want to unfollow me right now and I won't feel bad if you do XD But if you genuinely followed me because you like my posts then thank you so much! I really wish I could give something to each of my readers because I did not expect that I would have so many followers. I started this blog because I always read reviews/swatches of other peoples' blogs when I was just starting on makeup and I needed help, but I felt like I needed to contribute to the sea of swatches/reviews that others could use! (:

I wish I could post more on this blog but homework/summer school is really taking up so much of my time.. Thank you so much for everyone who stuck through with me since the beginning! (: I love each and every one of you guys~

Sincerely, mimi ❤

NYX Matte Lipstick in Tea Rose Review + Swatch ❤

Hii Lovelies~ ❤

I hope those living in the US had a great 4th of July & played with or saw fireworks! (: & I hope those living internationally had a great weekend! My family and I went on a tour of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo this weekend and the weather is so much nicer in the beach area than the inland area~ It's like 100 degrees over here right now... but it was a nice 70-ish degrees at Santa Barbara (:

Today, I will be doing a review on the new NYX Matte Lipstick in the shade "Tea Rose" (: Although the name "Tea Rose" is synonymous with the popular shade of "Tea Rose" of the NYX Round Case Lipstick, the colors are slightly different~ So don't buy this lipstick thinking that it is a matte version of the Round Case Lipstick version! ^^

Onto the product! (:

The packaging of this lipstick is a matte black tube, which represents the matte-ness of this lipstick :D
Smart packaging~ hahaha
